Has it really been a week since I’ve last posted? I gotta get on my A game. What’s up blogland? You haven’t missed too much in my life. Basically the whole routine of study, sleep, run, row, study, sleep, and then throw in some eating among that mix. Totally the life, right?
Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend the Healthy Living Expo that was hosted by my city. I made it a point to swing by in hopes of getting some good swag and ended up meeting a celebrity of sorts. Joe Mitchell, member of last year’s Biggest Loser season, was there to talk to people and let them know about his experience on the show. My main Biggest Loser man Antone Davis was there earlier but I missed him.
Life has been a little hectic lately, but that’s the way it was supposed to be. I’ve had a lot of pick me ups this week from unexpected places. I ordered two new BIC bands and ironically it arrived the same day I made the rowing team and even had a little note attached. Loved that motivation. My best friend even sent me the sweetest card to get my week out on the right foot.
I just became part of marathon staff for the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. I’m super pumped about this opportunity and love the people I get to work with. Plus it gives me a big behind the scenes look on how marathons come together from the logistics standpoint. Also, this weekend I am supposed to make a very special appearance at the Knoxville Zoo (where I belong) to advertise the Covenant Kids Run. Just WAIT until I post my outfit.
What’s new in your world? How is your training going? Have you ever met someone who has been on the Biggest Loser or at least tried out?
Ummm that is AWESOME!! How did you get the marathon job, how many hours will you work, what types of things will you do, do you get paid, and can I please have this job!!!! Congrats!
