It is Friday!  Finally, right?  This past week was the last day of classes for the semester so I’ve been wrapping up and trying to get my study on for finals week next week.  One of my professors thought it would be fun to reward us on the last day of class since had such a great semester and brought us donuts from Dunkin’.  Dun Dun Dun.  I may or may not have had a mild stroke upon seeing them.  I knew that if I saw everyone else eating them then I would feel deprived and it would more than likely lead to a binge so I chose a donut (red velvet) and pinched off a fourth of it and tried it.  Surprisingly it wasn’t even tasty but it satisfied me enough to not feel jealous that everyone else was indulging.  I was proud of my self control.  

I’ve spent a little bit of time in the kitchen this week preparing healthy meals.  For dinner last night I made some grilled chicken, corn, and a baked potato.  I added 3 sprays of I Can’t Believe It is Not Butter to make the potato a little more enjoyable but dumb me didn’t cook the potato thoroughly and ended up with only 2 bites anyway.  But it was still a filling and delicious meal.  6dinner

Yesterday I was able to get in a 3 mile walk with my Momma.  Rain had been steadily falling all morning so the weather was a little wet and cold but it was perfect for wearing long sleeves and pants.  I have also been doing some stuff at home like squats, pushups, jumping jacks, sit ups, etc.  Those squats will make you burn hard.   6pants

I’m so excited to be lighter this week than I was last week.  I’ve decided not to step on the scale at all until Wednesday because I know that at this point, the weight will come off at a much slower pace and I don’t want to feel disappointed.  Thanks for all your support.
